For costumes we're going steampunk lite.
For the men, this means shorts, kilts, and short sleeved shirts are encouraged because it's a hot one. Please remember, no t-shirts or fishing shirts and no vests without a shirt under it. You're still in COSTUME, a short sleeve button up shirt or pirate style won't kill you. Also, try to wear boots and not sneakers or god forbid crocks, slides, flip-flops or any other type of sandal.
For the ladies, this means keep it simple, corset or a cool steampunky top and a skirt or shorts is all you really need. Maybe throw a bustle behind you for some flair. Don't wear a leather corset, they do not breath and you will overheat. If you don't want to wear a hat, goggles make great headbands.
